Copyright GuidelinesShambhala has a policy of respecting the copyright laws and intellectual property laws in all countries in which it operates. Shambhala requires all of its centres to respect the rights of copyright holders as well.We are working towards finding ways to give our centres access to as many images, quotations, etc, as we can, but we want people to ask permission before they use things and to clearly label copyrighted images as such. This applies to web pages as well as to brochures and other print publications. In general, the author and owner of any work reproduced by you should be attributed. Permission should be requested for such use, except in fair user cases, which pertain to small quotations in appropriate contexts. Please refer to this short article on fair use. The author and owner may not be the same.
