Fenja Heupers

Acharya Fenja Heupers went to the 1976 seminary, and was on faculty at 1980 seminary, and 2003 vajrayana seminary. She studied Buddhist Studies at Naropa Institute. She has worked as Practice and Study Coordinator for Karma Dzong, Boulder, and for Vajradhatu Europe until 1989. She was a member of the Mudra theatre group in Boulder and has been teaching Mudra Space Awareness in Europe since 1990. Acharya Heupers is currently Mentor for Shambhala Centers of Prague and Vienna. For the past five years she has been researching the stories of women-practitioners at the time of the Buddha, and working part-time as an assistant-nurse. She is a happy single and lives in Haarlem, the Netherlands.
