SUSAN WILLIAMS
Chair of the Children and Families Working Group
Susan Williams (also Cervelli) has been teaching children for the past 25 yrs, the last 14 Shambhala School in Halifax. Susan, her husband Bob Cervelli and young son, Evan immigrated from Milwaukee to Nova Scotia 21 yrs.ago. She helped to spearhead the effort to begin the Shambhala Elementary School in Halifax, and has been instrumental in keeping the programming alive for young children at the Halifax Shambhala Centre, recently establishing the Family Advisory Board there. Susan has had the joyful privilege of directing the Family camp children's programs at Dechen Choling and Karme Choling.
Susan’s ongoing passion is the integration of the Shambhala vision into one's family life. She lives in the solar home she build with her husband with her two children Evan and Trevor (Dragon Armour and Spontaneous Sun). Her Shambhala name is Brilliant Lioness.
