JANE ARTHUR
Executive Director of Karme Choling.
Jane Arthur is currently the Executive Director of Karme Choling. She was a neonatal intensive care nurse and an attorney until she discovered the lineage of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche at Karme Choling in 1997. She then moved there staying for three years. She was then asked by the Sakyong to be the Director of the Boulder Shambhala Center, which she did from 2000-2004. She coordinated the first Rigden Abhisheka at Shambhala Mountain Center in 2005 and subsequently moved there to be the Head of Practice and Education. She left there to be the Executive Director of Karme Choling in October of 2006. She is a member of the Governor’s Council of Warriors and serves as part of the corps of daily secretaries to Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Her Shambhala name is Golden Goose.
