Teachings of Pema Chodron

One Friday evening per month from 7-9 p.m.
Join us to view and discuss video teachings of Pema Chödrön, a leading exponent of teachings on meditation and how they apply to everyday life. She is widely known for her charming and down-to-earth interpretation of Tibetan Buddhism for Western audiences.
These evenings are open to everyone. A donation of $5 per evening is suggested to help us defray the cost of the videos.
About Pema Chödrön
Pema studied under the meditation master Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and currently studies with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche. Pema is the resident teacher at Gampo Abbey, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, the first Tibetan monastery for Westerners. She has written several books: The Wisdom of No Escape, Start Where You Are, When Things Fall Apart, The Places that Scare You, No Time to Lose and Practicing Peace in Times of War.
Prerequisites: None. Suitable for beginning students. Everyone is welcome.
