Taking Refuge in the Three Jewels

Even though Buddhism has become somewhat popular, to become a Buddhist in today's world is still an uncommon decision.  What does it mean to take a vow, to become a refugee, to step firmly onto the path of the Buddha?  Why would anyone want to?  

This class will explore these questions and the basic elements of taking refuge- the formal step of becoming a Buddhist.  It is open to all, and required* for those who will take the refuge vow on December 2nd.
