The Montreal Shambhala meditation center invites you to participate in its Silent Auction fundraiser. Our goal is to raise funds to replace our meditation cushion covers and to replace the lighting in the meditation room.

The success of our fundraiser greatly depends upon you, dear and generous donors. We hope to receive items that are creative, attractive * and that will create interest.

The silent auction will be held on Sunday, September 21st during harvest of Peace, the center’s community celebration for the Autmn Equinoxe (Nyida Day). Additional information related to the general assembly and the silent auction will follow. However we urge you to block this time in your agenda to ensure your presence.

This is an excellent opportunity to show your support towards de Montreal Shambhala meditation center and at the same time contribute to its all around beauty.

For members who are entrepreneurs and wish to participate we are soliciting gift certificates for meals, services or even articles for sale, depending on your services and products. In return the name of your organization will be visible during the silent auction and will be mentioned in our publicity.

 Here are a few examples of donations we are seeking;

Jewellery, services, plants, objects of value, books, gift certificates, concert tickets, sporting goods, antiques, quality crafts, furniture and accessories, paintings, properties for rent, objects related to our Shambhala practice.

This event requires a lot of organisation and coordination. To help out it would be greatly appreciated if you could lend us a hand. If that is the case please let us know as soon as possible .

Thanking you in advance for your support.
