Is held on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 7:30.  (JULY ONLY: Because of the Canada Day holiday on July 1st, the Learn to Meditate sessions will take place on the second and fourth Tuesdays of
this month, July 8th and July 22nd, at 7:30 pm.) These sessions will provide meditation instruction for newcomers along with a brief introduction to Shambhala, practice in sitting and walking meditation, and opportunities for questions and discussion. These sessions are also open to anyone who has already received initial instruction but would like to hear it again.

The alternate Tuesdays are follow-up nights when newcomers can return for further discussion with meditation instructors (MI’s) and Shambhala Guides. For anyone already practicing who would like to talk about their individual practice, any of our three MI’s (Debbie Godden, Debbie McGee and Moyra Buchan) are available to meet with you privately and, if you wish, be your on-going meditation instructor.

These Tuesday sessions replace the meditation instruction previously offered on Wednesdays at 6:45 pm. The regular Wednesday night sitting will continue as usual, but the schedule will provide two 25 minute periods of sitting meditation separated by 10 minutes of walking (7:55 – 8:05); finishing at 8:30 with informal discussion in small groups of two or three.
