The Shambhala Sadhana was composed during the last phase of the Sakyong's year long retreat in 2009-10. It is intended to be the binding practice of the broader sangha and is being formally introduced as a main practice at Enlightened Society Assembly (ESA). This program is for Vajrayana students (and those who attended Sutrayana Seminary prior to ESA) who have not yet received the Shambhala Sadhana lung and the Sun transmission, and as a gathering of warriors to practice and study the Sadhana.
We invite people who are already practicing to the Sadhana (e.g., those who have completed ESA) to come for any or all of the weekend, including an open invitation to support the new practitioners and to refresh your understanding. Sunday will be for all those who have received the Sadhana to join in practice and study.
