Full Moon No Clouds: A Monthly Berkeley Shambhala Art Gathering

For poets, writers, dancers, musicians, sculptors, painters, filmmakers, photographers, puppeteers, et al., as well as art appreciators and fellow humans.
No experience or artistic talent required.
$5-10 suggested donation.
Among other elements we will include in our monthly gathering:
Discussions on Chogyam Trungpa’s teachings on dharma art, including how dharma art relates to our own creative process, appreciation of art, and general perception of the world
Holding the paradox of form and freedom, structure and spontaneity
Exploring the relationship of meditation to the creative process
Contemplating obstacles to creativity (such as writer’s block) and how we relate to such obstacles as they arise
Sharing how and where we find inspiration and how it can lead to creative expression
Optional offerings: original exhibitions, performances, presentations
Community salons every few months
