The Profound Treasury Study Group
"From 1973 to 1986, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche conducted thirteen seminaries and gave over three hundred talks. He structured these seminaries according to the three main stages of the Buddhist path laid out in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition: Hinayana, Mahayana, and Vajrayana........The hinayana introduces core Buddhist teachings on the nature of mind, the practice of meditation, the reality of suffering, and the possibility of liberation."
--Acharya Emeritus Judith Lief (From the Editor's Introduction of Volume One)
Please join us for an eight week study group which begins the mutual exploration of the seminary teachings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. The class will be held Wednesday evenings from 7-9 beginning June 11th. It will be necessary for participants to purchase The Profound Treasury of the Ocean of Dharma - The Path of Individual Liberation (Volume One) in order to participate fully in the class. It is available online through Shambhala Publications and Amazon, as well as other booksellers, and is now available in paperback.

You do not need to purchase the entire set for this class, just Volume One, though of course you are certainly welcome to (we may have follow up classes on the other volumes).
ADDITIONALLY please be aware that there is another book with a similar title, upon which this class is NOT based, called The Ocean of Dharma - Everyday Wisdom of Chögyam Trungpa. Please do not confuse the two. This class is based on the book (The profound Treasury of the Ocean of Dharma - Volume I - The Path of Individual Liberation) listed earlier on this page and for which links were provided (additionally the photo on this page is of the cover of correct book to purchase).
Prerequisite - While this class is generally available to beginners it is recommended that you have some foundation in the practice of meditation. This is not an introductory class about meditation techniques and on-going meditation instruction is not intended to be a part of this class.
