Taoism - The Art of Living
with Eva Wong
July 19 / 8:30 AM - July 19 / 6:00 PM
In this workshop we will be introduced to various Taoist practices that cultivate a healthy body and peaceful mind. We begin with qigong exercises designed to activate and circulate qi, the energy of life. This is followed by a session of guided Taoist-style meditation. Throughout the day we will explore Taoist practices such as tea appreciation, five-element diet for health, principles of contemplative hiking. We will also read and discuss Taoist texts that inspire us to examine ourselves and our relationship to the world we live in.
No previous experience of qigong or meditation required.
Seating for this event is limited, payment is required at the time of registration to reserve a seat.
