As a river to the sea,
as the sea to clouds,
as clouds to the land,
so does bodhichitta beautify this world!
Khunu Rinpoche, Vast as the Heavens

If you don't have a week available, join us for the weekend!
Join us for our Urban Weekthun featuring the teachings of Pema Chodron. Using the DVD series, Awakening Bodhicitta:Training in the Six Paramitas, Will Handy will lead us to compassion and understanding, the two aspects of Buddhism that give it strength and beauty when they come together in the awakened mind. In many ways bodhichita is the essence of all Budhist practice.
In this retreat on the training of bodhicitta, Pema Chodron focuses on how to practice "action bodhicitta", the six paramitas of transcendental generosity, discipline, patience, joyful exertion, medittion, and wisdom.
The traditional practice of noble silence will help develop a strong container for deepening meditation practice.
