Introduction to the Path of Buddha: View, Meditation, and Action

with David Sable
June 27 / 6:00 PM - June 29 / 4:00 PM

What are the original Buddhist teachings that have continued for thousands of years? In this weekend retreat, we'll explore the Buddhist view of life, the basic Buddhist meditation practice, and the implications for bringing mindfulness and awareness into daily life.

What did the Buddha teach about the basic human condition, the nature of self, and our interdependent world? What did the Buddha teach about faith? What were the Buddha’s methods and why have they attracted so much scientific research in recent decades? We will explore these questions and more in a weekend of practice, study, and reflective interaction.
