Essential Heart of Kasungship, Part 1
March 3 / 7:00 PM - March 31 / 8:30 PM
All Shambhala members and Kasung interested in deepening their understanding of the ground, path and fruition of the Dorje Kasung Path are encouraged to attend this class series. The class will cover an in-depth study of the Dorje Kasung Handbook, the Three Yanas of the Dorje Kasung and selected material from Shambhala: Sacred Path of the Warrior. The classes will focus on the Eight Slogans of the Dorje Kasung and their integral relationship with Shambhala Training.
Dorje Kasung is Tibetan for "indestructible protectors of the dharma." Protection in regards to the Dorje Kasung is not how to achieve a solid state free from change, but rather cultivating an attitude of fundamental nonaggression and compassionate action that brings oneself and others back onto the path of awake. The protection has nothing to do with solidifying personal or collective territory, but rather extending the boundaries of the mandala of sanity to others.
