Spring Thunder: Treasuring Creativity in Community

Saturday March 29, 2014

Noon-4:00pm Open House

5:00pm-6:30pm Reception with Performance Salon

As we welcome Spring, and the fresh year of the Wood Horse, let us not forget all that we have felt, learned, lost, and loved this past year. All ages are invited to join us in the main shrine room for an Open House of creating collages that reflect where we have been, and envision where we are headed. We will be working on poster board with mixed media to create a wonderful, visual representation for our new year.

Our collages will be displayed at the following reception with performance offerings and appreciations for the creativity in our community.

Reception offerings sign up with Abbey in the PSC office, or email her at hello@portland.shambhala.org All mediums welcome, 2-5 minute time limit

The core Portland Shambhala Dharma Arts Council is comprised of Caitlin Bargenquast, Abbey Pleviak, and Amy Aycrigg. This will be our third year creating a Portland community event in conjunction with the International Shambhala Spring Arts Festival. Our council works with Sangha artists, teachers, and volunteers to enrich and inspire local culture, rippling out into the global mandala at large.
