The Marriage of East and West Through Contemporary Flower Design

with Alice Tarkeshi
April 19 / 10:00 AM - April 19 / 6:00 PM

In this day-long workshop, students will be working with the principles of Heaven, Earth and Human, and find their own personal expression in the context of Modern Art. Each session reflects a sequence that applies to both the Shambhala warrior teachings and the psychology of creativity.

"Anyone, anywhere with anything." (Hiroshi Teshigahara) inspires the free use of materials coming together in a striking, sculptural unity.

Please bring basic pruning clippers or those designed for flower arranging.

We will meet from 10 AM to 6 PM with a break for lunch.

Alice Tarkeshi

Alice Tarkeshi, a long-time student and practitioner of this sculptural art form, is pleased to offer her inspiration and expertise in a workshop that will enable students to grow into freer and fuller expression. Alice is guided in her teaching by the wisdom of Mindfulness-Awareness Meditation, along with her life long, in-depth experience of the creative process and its healing benefits.

Dates for Future Sessions Include
Saturdays: July 5th, and August 2nd
