Summer Shambhala Weekthun
with Arawana Hayashi
July 18 / 7:30 PM - July 25 / 12:00 PM
A summer week of practice at beautiful Sky Lake. Fulfills weekthun requirements. Weekthun is an intensive, week-long meditation retreat for new and experienced meditators interested in deepening their mindfulness-awareness.
The program will be full of practices carefully designed to cultivate mindfulness-awareness including: one-on-one meditation instruction, guided meditations, movement excercises, dharma talks from the Acharya, and walks through the beautiful Sky Lake woods.
Through the week of practice, meditation goes beyond the cushion, with every aspect of daily life becoming a practice of wakefulness and an opportunity to make better friends with ourselves and our world.
Participants will have the chance to take Buddhist Refuge Vows with Achara Hayashi on Sunday, July 20-- this is completely optional! If you know you would like to take the vow, please note that in your registration. You can also wait and decide when you are here.
