Shambhala Kurukulla practitioners are warmly invited to attend this autumn’s Kurukullā practice intensive at Dechen Chöling, November 2nd to 9th. The program will begin with two days of practice combined with training and review of all aspects of the sadhana including the feast. The rest of the retreat will focus on intensive mantra recitation and extended feast practice. The program will include replays of the Sakyong’s talks about Kurukulla practice. There will be ample time for discussion of the sādhana during the retreat. This program is specifically dedicated to the development and prosperity of Dechen Chöling.
Walker Blaine is Master of Liturgies to Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Walker has studied and practiced the dharma in Shambhala for 30 years. In addition to being a student of the Sakyong, he has studied intensively with Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso Rinpoche. Walker’s ebook, The Great River of Blessings an account of the Rinchen Terdzö received by the Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche in the winter of 2008-2009, can be downloaded at the Sakyong Foundation. To attend this program you must be a Shambhala Werma or Vajrayogini practitioner who has received the Kurukullā empowerment and practice from Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.
This programme starts on Sunday November 2 at 20:00 and ends on Saturday evening. You can choose to leave anytime next day, Sunday November 9.
This retreat is taught in English. Translation into other languages is available at no extra costs. Please give us notice of your request as early as possible - about 2 months in advance - so that we can provide translation service.
