Parenting as Path: Being Brave and Balancing
with Jenny Warwick
April 27 / 10:00 AM - April 27 / 12:30 PM
Parenting on the Shambhala path offers special challenges and special rewards for the householder warrior family. Starting within our households, we have the challenge of keeping our own meditation practice strong and alive, and devoting attention to raising compassionate and confident children. Being brave is letting ourselves do this. Balancing our ideals and our practicalities, is the way.
Acharya Jenny Warwick comes to the Families and Children Working Group with a background in early childhood education and many years of practice and service in Shambhala. She is also a mother and grandmother with a keen interest in creating enlightened society in our households and our communities. She invites you to be part of this conversation.
