Spring Meditation Retreat (Weekthun)
with Rayna Jacobson
April 18 / 7:00 PM - April 25 / 6:00 PM
This non-residential group retreat will provide the framework for deepening our meditation practice of "calm abiding" as taught in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition. Putting us further in touch with the natural powers of basic goodness, this week of intensive practice will strengthen the ground for effective compassionate action in our life. At least six months of previous meditation experience highly recommended.
To complement meditation practice and its application to our everyday lives, the retreat will explore the path of basic goodness and wakeful community, drawing from The Shambhala Principle by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.
We are also offering seats for the initial weekend of the Weekthun: Fri, April 18 - Sun, April 20. Tuition is pro-rated for this partial weekthun as follows: General $140, Member $119, Patron $160. To register for this option, click the registration button below and note "weekend only" and indicate the amount you will be paying.
If you have any questions, please email our registrar, Abbey Pleviak at firstname.lastname@example.org
