Sonoma Shambhala Monthly Family Day: Our Children Are Our Teachers
Sunday Family Day is a monthly practice opportunity where we welcome children as part of our sangha as well as give them the space to be themselves.
Sunday Family Meditation is a time where children and adults can come together as well as engage in their own separate practices. During the adult sitting meditation, the children will be taught Mindful Practice as well as given space to engage in and create their own sense of community with each other. We will end the morning with the adults and children together in the shrine room.
Children aged 5 and up are welcome to attend on their own. Parents of children under 5, please contact Susie Cook at email@example.com in advance for more information.
The program accompanies our regular Sunday morning group meditation practice from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m.
