Fearlessness in Everyday Life
with Mark Blumenfeld & Kathy Faas
April 21 / 7:00 PM - May 19 / 9:00 PM
This is the fourth course in the Way of Shambhala I series.
As the path continues, we learn to work with anxiety, so that we are not blocked by fear. Through an exploration of the traditional Buddhist teachings of mind and the nature of reality, we learn to see clearly. We dare to face life and death as they are. The meditator, open to uncertainty, goes beyond hope and fear. Each class allows for open discussion of the challenges that meditators face in their practice.
PREREQUISITES: Joy in Everyday Life and Contentment in Everday Life courses. Shambhala Training Levels I- IV recommended but not required.
Please note: This class is required to proceed to the next class Wisdom in Everyday Life in the Way of Shambhala I series. Please also note that completion of Fearlessness in Everyday Life means attending at least three of the classes in the series. It is not always possible to make up a missed class depending on the content of that class.
