Way of Shambhala: Fearlessness in Everyday Life
with Denise Wuensch & Jeffrey Stevens
February 4 / 7:00 PM - March 4 / 9:00 PM
This is the fourth course in the Way of Shambhala series. Through an exploration of the traditional Buddhist teachings of mind and the nature of reality, we learn to see clearly. We dare to face life and death as they are. The meditator, open to uncertainty, goes beyond hope and fear.
PREREQUISITE: Way of Shambhala: Joy in Everyday Life course.
Shambhala Training Levels I- IV recommended, but not required.
STAFFING: If you've completed Level IV and Way of Shambhala: Fearlessness in Everyday Life (FIEL), we invite you to volunteer to help staff this program! It also is recommended [but not required] to have taken the Shambhala "View of staffing/coordinating" training. In Denver, this was held May 25, 2013 with Janet Solyntjes and in December 2011 with Michael Levy, but it has been offered at other Shambhala Centers, too. Please contact Laurie Lavine (firstname.lastname@example.org), the contact for FIEL, if you're interested in coordinating or staffing or sign up via SMCD's Volunteer webpage here.
