If you’re new to the Center this is an excellent time to come. Everyone is welcome!
- 6:30 – 7:30 pm: Shamatha (calm abiding) meditation, often with a period of walking meditation in the middle.
- 6:30 pm: Free meditation instruction is provided in a separate room.
- 7:30 – 8:15 pm: Open House talk. Topics vary, but these talks often provide a basic introduction to the path of meditation. Talks are free and open to the public.
On this evening, Layth Matthews will lead a discussion about the Buddhist view of wealth, livelihood and the basis of sustainable prosperity from his new book, the Four Noble Truths of Wealth.
