Exploring the Bodhisattva Vow
with Will Handy
February 8 / 2:00 PM - February 8 / 3:30 PM
The Bodhisattva Vow is further commitment to put others before oneself and to work wholeheartedly for their benefit. The basis of this vow is the aspiration to develop friendliness, compassion, and genuine insight through the practice of the six paramitas - generosity, discipline, patience, exertion, meditation, and prajna.
If you are interested in taking the Bodhisattva vow and have previously taken the Refuge Vow, you must have the approval from Acharya Hardin. An interview will be scheduled for you with Acharya Hardin during the week of March 16.
If you would like to take the Bodhisattva Vow, in addition please register on the Center web site for the March 20th ceremony.
