Contentment in Everyday Life

This course provides an exploration of mindfulness meditation, the fondational views of the Hinayana Buddhists teachings and meditation in action for daily life. With meditation practice, we learn to appreciate ourselves and our simple human experiences, whatever they are. Contentment arises from our capacity to meet strong or difficult emotions, therefore the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, steadiness, and humor.


 


During weekdays and on weekends, the street-facing front door is locked as of 4:30 pm. You have to punch 203 on the keypad near the door and wait until someone answers you and let you in. Once in, please make sure the door is closed behind you.
