Contentment in Everyday Life, Way of Shambhala I: Still time to register
February 12 / 12:00 AM - April 2 / 8:00 PM
In this Way of Shambhala course we begin to understand why experience is often habitual and full of discontent and suffering. And most importantly, we learn how difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, steadiness and humor.
This course includes meditation instruction, talks, periods of meditation practice, discussion, and a variety of contemplative practice activities. A range of learning aids are used, including simple instructions, experiential exercises and strong community support.
The only prerequisite is having previously received Shambhala Meditation Instruction which is available at every practice sitting at the Centre.
Note: Contentment In Everyday Life is a prerequisite for all subsequent Way of Shambhala weeknight classes.
Please be aware that there will be no classes the first two weeks of March.
Suggested donation is $85. Repeater (those who have done the course before) $35. If you need financial assistance please contact Ms. Charlotte Bernard 828-490-4587
