Shambhala level I - The art of being human
with Orhun Cercel
November 29 / 7:00 PM - December 1 / 5:00 PM
We want to live a meaningful and dignified life in a healthy society and environment. This is a natural propensity of human beings. Making meditation part of our daily life is a way of living this enriched life.
“The art of being human” is the first weekend course in a series of five courses developed by the meditation master Chogyam Trungpa.
Following these teachings helps us establish a personal meditation discipline. By meditation we develop the ability to be fully present in any situation and with any experience we may have. Meditation enables us to relax and see unconditional goodness as the ground of our existence. The confidence we have in this goodness becomes a foundation of our life. We begin to realize that kindness, courage and humor are better and more natural tools than aggression and self-centeredness. This training helps us bring and nurture these principles in every moment of our life, be it at school, at work or in our family.
The course is intended for everybody, both experienced and beginner meditators.
The course is taught by Orhun Cercel, Shambhala teacher and long-time meditator.
The course is taught in English with Czech translation.
