The Shambhala Principle
with Richard John
May 9 / 7:00 PM - May 11 / 5:30 PM
Registration for this weekend program is now closed.
Based on the book of the same name by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, this special pubic talk and weekend program are an excellent opportunity to develop your meditation practice and align it with the realities of daily life. The Shambhala Principle is exactly that: how the deepening of one’s inner realization is necessary if we are to uplift our world and create an awake human society.
The Sakyong’s teachings are inspired by conversations with his father, the great Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and the program will explore these core teachings on wisdom and kindness.
Prerequisite: The public talk is open to all. The weekend program is designed for Shambhala Training Level I graduates, but anyone who has received meditation instruction in Shambhala is welcome.
Schedule: PUBLIC TALK: Friday, May 9, 7:00 – 9:00 PM. WEEKEND PROGRAM: Saturday and Sunday, May 10 and 11, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Prices: SUGGESTED: $175.00. Generosity Policy applies. PATRON (for participants who wish to offer more than the suggested price to help cover the costs for those unable to pay that amount): $200.00. In addition, we will provide an opportunity to express appreciation and support for Acharya John and his teaching by collecting a monetary gift for him.
