November 2 / 11:00 AM - December 7 / 1:00 PM

Joy in Everyday Life

As meditation practice expands and we develop trust in basic goodness, we begin to discover the confidence and personal energy to go forward on the journey. This leads to a sense of joy and bravery.

PrerequisiteMeditation in Everyday Life  or  Contentment in Everyday Life

Following on from the Contentment in Everyday Life series of classes, Joy in Everyday Life explores the Buddhist teachings on intelligent compassion towards others.  Through this we begin to discover the joy of discipline, health and bravery.  In this series we look at the Mahayana teachings on compassion and how they can become the inspiration for a life of cheerful discipline and freedom from doubt.

The course will be led by Jesse Miller (based in California) and Margaret Hughes (based in Northern Rivers, Australia) and will be available for online participation for Wellington participants.
