Basic Goodness 1
with Rayna Jacobson
January 24 / 7:00 PM - January 26 / 5:00 PM
This exciting new curriculum can serve as an introduction to the Shambhala teachings or provide further grounding in Shambhala view for individuals who have already taken some of the Shambhala Training weekend levels or Everyday Life classes. The Basic Goodness series emphasizes the experiential study of the view and meaning of basic goodness and being human. Using the contemplative inquiry approach we explore the development of self, relationship to others, and the phenomena of reality. This process deepens our understanding beyond theoretical concepts.
This course is a stand-alone class or is the first of the three Basic Goodness classes which are prerequisites for advanced programs. Everybody is welcome. There are no prerequisites for this class.
The Basic Goodness Series is comprised of 3 courses. Each course has a question and a title.
1. Who am I? The Basic Goodness of Being Human
2. How can I help? The Basic Goodness of Society
3. What is real? The Basic Goodness of Reality
