Children's Day Celebration

December 21 / 4:30 PM - December 21 / 8:30 PM

Leave the frenzy of 'holiday mind' behind, and join with Sangha families

and friends to celebrate the promise of light and rebirth.

Come in uplifted attire, along with your offering for our POT LUCK dinner.

Children may want to bring a small offering for the Children's Shrine.

Examples of offerings vary widely, and might include special treasures

found in nature, potted plants, edible treats and handmade decorations.

This years Shambhala King and Queen, Shastri Larry Higgins and Joanne Trubitt,

will lead us in our celebration. In addition to the traditional story for children,

the King and Queen will give a later talk for adults entitled

'Working With Families'

sure to be helpful wisdom for holiday encounters.

With early snacks, pot luck dinner, sparklers, smores, and adult beverages too,

it promises to embody the warmth and heart of Basic Goodness.

                         in our celebration.
