Basic Goodness I - Who Am I?

In general the BASIC GOODNESS SERIES presents Shambhala and Buddhist teachings in an experiential way, with an emphasis on understanding the view and meaning of these teachings. This new three-course series is a powerful journey through the complete view and experience of basic goodness - our personal experience, our experience with others, and our relationship with the reality of life itself.
This first class focuses on the sense of self. It includes teachings on basic goodness, selflessness, the arising of ego, the 5 skandhas, cocoon, buddha nature, and the confidence of warriorship.
The new Basic Goodness Series is open to everyone, without prerequisites. We strongly recommend that participants first receive basic meditation instruction during Open Sitting Meditation session. It would also be good if a student could attend a Meditation in Everyday Life course before entering the Basic Goodness Series. But these are not firm prerequisites.
