Basic Goodness in the City: A 7-Day Winter Retreat
with Eve Rosenthal
December 26 / 8:00 AM - January 1 / 8:30 PM
"This was the best thing I have ever done for myself. Really deepened my meditation practice."
"Thank you for this week, it has changed my life."
Seven Day Intensive Retreat:
Join fellow New Yorkers as our popular weeklong practice intensive makes its winter debut, and bring some sanity to the holiday season. Led by Acharya Eve Rosenthal, intensive group practice provides a powerful support to deepen our mindfulness and awareness and allow basic goodness to arise. Open to all practitioners; you may join the retreat for a day or two or attend the whole week.
Full participation in this retreat fulfills the weekthun requirement for attending Enlightened Society Assembly.
This meditation intensive includes approximately 8 hours of daily silent meditation. People of all faiths and traditions are warmly invited, but please note the practice days will begin and end with a few traditional Buddhist and Shambhala chants.
During this weekthun, we will also be offering a space for ngondro and werma group practice for advanced practitioners. Acharya Rosenthal will offer a talk and some guidance to aid your practice. (This does not fulfill the requirements of a land retreat but it does count towards group practice requirements.)
