The four dignities lay out the stages of the path of warriorship. They are qualities that are innate to our own body, mind, and windhorse. Connecting with the energy and insight of each dignity brings further embodiment and deeper understanding of who we are and how to enjoy and engage the world. This program will combine sitting meditation, windhorse practice, study of a Shambhala treasure text (terma), sensory and outdoor explorations, and spending time with each other as a community of warriors in the world.
We will be spending a good amount of time outdoors, so please bring warm, waterproof clothing and good waterproof shoes/boots. Qigong (Eva Wong's lineage) will be offered before breakfast each morning for those interested in learning this form. It is optional. We will be doing other body exercises, so please bring loose comfortable clothing for moving around inside.
This program is offered as one continuous retreat, but this is the second part that could be taken separately.
Perky moves by leaps and bounds. Discipline becomes a natural expression of our inspiration. We are naturally curious to explore and face our doubts and hesitations. The path is delightful. Perky starts on the evening of March 30th at 7:30 p.m. and concludes on April 1st at 5:00 p.m.
