Shambhala Principle book discussion

October 11 / 9:30 AM - November 22 / 11:00 AM

What thought first arises in our minds when we wake up in the morning or shift our attention during the day? We all have an assumed image of ourselves. What is our underlying feeling—is it confident or sad? These ordinary habitual thoughts pervade and guide our lives, for better or worse. But if we are willing to look at them with gentleness and courage, we may find that our lives are transformed into a path of wakefulness, and we may become genuine warriors.
Kindly join us as we discuss Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche's new book, The Shambhala Principle released in early May.
This series of early morning discussions will begin  Friday September 27th at 9:30am at the Shambhala Center in Mahone Bay.
Please join us for a cup of tea or coffee , a light snack and conversations from selected passages. We encourage you to purchase the book either from the center or from various bookstores or online. There is no requirement to have attended previous meetings. Feel free to join us on any given Friday .
