Joy In Everyday Life

This five-class weeknight course is part of The Way of Shambhala, our core path of training.
We often approach our lives with the idea that joy comes from the fulfillment of our personal desires. Through an exploration of the Buddhist teachings on intelligent compassion towards others, we begin to discover the confidence and inspiration for a life of cheerful discipline, health and bravery.
This course, open to everyone, is designed to complement Shambhala Training Level III and is prerequisite for Fearlessness in Everyday Life, the next weeknight course in the "Everyday Life" series of Way of Shambhala courses.
Key elements of this series include simple instructions, experiential exercises and strong community support.
Preparation: Contentment in Everyday Life course recommended but not required
