Fall Weekthun Retreat at Juniper Hill
with Henry Chapin
October 5 / 2:00 PM - October 12 / 2:00 PM
For the Shambhala warrior, the act of meditating is the ultimate synchronicity of body and mind. During the weekthun, we will focus on the first aspect of Shambhala meditation: feeling.
Meditation is being present with how one feels. Feeling is the ability to contact and trust oneself at a deep level. In feeling, we connect with our humanity and rediscover our basic goodness.
Everyone is welcome to particpate in this delightful journey which includes group discussions, talks, and short work periods. There will be periods of functional speech and days of silence during the program. Meditation instructions and individual interviews with meditation instructors will be given regularly in English or French throughout the week.
In order to create the conditions for a contemplative environment and maintain a strong container, the participants are required to register for the entire week. This weekthun will count towards the completion of a full dathun which is a four-week intensive.
