Do you want to discover your cultural spirit and passion? Do you want to join in a nation-wide celebration of arts and culture by participating in The Five Wishes to All Beings art project?  Come find out more about the project!

Emma Ates, an artist-educator and meditation practitioner, has created a unique contemplative arts experience as part of Culture Days. Over an eight-week period, participants in The Five Wishes to All Beings art project will identify and explore five qualities and values to cultivate in one’s personal life and community in order to benefit all beings,

This workshop/orientation Emma will introduce the art project, and the contemplative exercises and creative activities in which participants will engage, including contemplation, felt experience, and creation of visual symbols of the qualities and values being contemplated. Participants may then choose to participate in the eight consecutive workshops, which will be offered at a location still to be announced. For more information about the workshops, please check out her website.

While this orientation workshop is free to all participants, there is a fee for participation in The Five Wishes to All Beings art project workshops. This orientation workshop is offered in collaboration with Culture Days.

Emma Ates is a contemplative artist-educator, Nalanda Miksang photographer and teacher, founder of Mindful Rupa Arts, and a meditation practitioner.
