The Art of War - Ancient Strategies in Modern Times
with Peter van der Molen & Jan Frans Sturm
December 13 / 7:30 PM - December 15 / 6:00 PM
Our lives are full with challenges and we need to take more decisions and at a faster rate than ever before. But the increasing complexity of our world requires us to be careful in what we do. Instead of moving faster, we can actually learn to slow down, enjoy simplicity, and learn how to take decisions. This program presents an entirely fresh and new approach, towards learning how to live strategically. It draws upon the ancient wisdom of Sun Tzu‘s Art of War, but made simple and applicable in our daily life, that we share with the rest of the world.
As Dorje Kasung we have a unique and long connection with Sun Tzu‘s teachings, as we apply them to achieve “Victory over War“. Both Dr. Peter C. van der Molen, Rupön and Jan-Frans Sturm, Rupön, Denma Advisor are long-serving Dorje Kasung and will lead this weekend together. They serve as Kasung throughout Europe and abroad in various campaigns and many different posts, and will present a modern way of using this ancient wisdom.
This weekend is offered by the Dorje Kasung to all its members and is also open to all non-kasung who are a member of Shambhala. So all Shambhala-members are warmly invited to join us in this rare opportunity and experience some of our precious teachings and forms. The forms during this program will be our traditional Kasung forms, so we ask you to enjoy this feast of simplicity with us. Attending this program requires your presence during the entire weekend. So you cannot come in later or leave earlier, the format of the weekend does not allow for this.
Please register in advance for this program through this site or through firstname.lastname@example.org. The program-costs will be €90,= for the weekend, including food and refreshments. Handouts in English will be provided at the end of the program.
