A WEEK-LONG MEDITATION RETREAT

Human beings need rest and space to be happy. In the Buddhist meditation tradition, we practice sitting still to offer space to ourselves, inside and out, and also to those we love and work with.

Join us for a week of letting go of projects, worries, and regrets to create space for yourself through practicing non-attainment in sitting and walking meditation. In meditation practice, we return to being present to our body and mind with every breath; in this way we touch the center of our life.

This week-long sitting meditation intensive (or Weekthun) includes approximately 8 hours of daily silent meditation, Dharma talks and practice instructions, two meetings with a meditation instructor (for those attending the full week), and morning and evening Shambhala Buddhist chants.

Shambhala Vajrayana practitioners are invited to group practice in the Tantra Shrine Room.

Full participation in this retreat fulfills one week of the Dathun practice requirements for the Shambhala Buddhist path.
