Much of the recovery path seems to focus on struggle: breaking free of painful habits, facing inner demons, and cleaning up past karma. In all of this, we may lose sight of the ultimate purpose of recovery: finding happiness in our lives. This talk will look at the ways that Buddhist teachings and practices can help us to make a shift towards a more positive experience of recovery and working with the 12 Steps.
