Harvest of Peace

The Autumn Equinox marks the beginning of the time of year when the heat of summer is subsiding. This suggests gathering of family and friends to feast and celebrate.
This is an open invitation to all to come to The Harvest of Peace Celebration, Saturday, September 21. The day will include practice, a recorded address by the Sakyong, presentations, local fund raising and food.
Program: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Please arrive by 8:45 AM____________________
9 -10:00 AM Opening chants, Sitting, Contemplation and Practice led by Shastri deVaron
10 -11:00 AM Welcoming comments by Center Director, Mrs. Joanne Herson.

12:45 PM Local fund raising for our New Space
1:30 PM " Perfect Pie Social". Please bring a savory or sweet pie to share.
Drinks and snacks will be offered by the center; a $10 donation is suggested.
As is our custom, all are to encouraged to go to dinner later in the evening with participants. Consider small groups that live in your area.
