Bodhisattva Vow Preparatory Class
with Tom Gaylord & Randy Harris
September 10 / 7:00 PM - September 22 / 1:00 PM
We begin to see the needless quality of suffering of all sentient beings. And we are so roused by it that we want to do something...Then we say, "It may take me forever, but if the best way for me to help others is to attain Buddhahood myself, then that is what I will do." That is our vow...the basic character of a bodhisattva is boundless love, kindness, and compassion. It is beyond aspiring and engaging -- it is actually happening.
-- Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche
