Public Talk: The Buddhist Teachings on Death

with Gisèle Laberge
October 17 / 7:00 PM - October 17 / 9:00 PM

According to buddhism, dying is one of the most precious moment of life and we can prepare ourselves for it. For someone who recognizes the reality of death intimately, a quest to find the fundamental nature of life can begin and sense of priorities can change so that there is more meaning to one's life at the moment when death comes. Certain themes covered during the talk will be developed in the course on the Tibeatn Book of the Dead.

Gisèle Laberge is a senior teacher of meditation and of buddhist and shambhalian teachings. She is the founder of the ONE YEAR TO LIVE workshop which she has been leading since 2001. She is a End of Life companion.
