Please join us for a lively and thought-provoking evening of conversation about the meaning of wealth. Explore with our panelists the ways in which they have learned to recognize and work with the often invisible principles that guide our actions, particularly the deeply-rooted ones, that influence relationships to money, wealth and power.

Our panelists are longtime Shambhala practitioners inspired to explore these topics with you. Larry Teitelbaum, Executive Vice President at EPG, Inc., is our Moderator. Our panelists are Kathy Vieweg, MIT Leadership Giving Officer, and Matthew Bellows, Founder and CEO of Yesware. The panel invites you to contemplate Chapter 17, The Economy, (especially the first two pages) from the Sakyong's book The Shambhala Principle.

-At 6:30pm we will gather in the community room space and everyone is invited to bring their own dinner.

-At 7:00pm, we will go upstairs for meditation practice together, and then engage in contemplation and discussion around a particular topic. You can join the group for meditation and conversation at 7pm if you are unable to join us for eating our dinners together.

We will be working with the new book The Shambhala Principle by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, but having read the book is not required. Copies are available for purchase at the Center.

Newcomers are invited to any Wednesday night Shambhala Gathering, please also see our Welcome to Shambhala evening on the first Wednesday of every month for a rich introduction to the Shambhala Community.
