Mamo Chants (Time varies)
February 19 / 5:30 PM - February 28 / 8:30 PM
The year-end Mamo Days practice - traditionally recited from the 20th-29th days of the last lunar month of the Tibetan year - is a means of clearing up the environmental negativity of the whole year. It is traditional at this time to invoke the transforming power of realization in the form of the Dharma Protectors' practice. By reciting the chant, we tune into the protector principle of awareness and reconnect with sacred outlook.
Though traditionally this practice has been restricted to Vajrayana students, the Sakyong has asked that all practitioners be invited to participate in the mamo chants. You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you are able.
