with Emily Bower
October 26 / 9:30 AM - October 27 / 6:00 PM
Shambhala Vajrayana practitioners are warmly invited to practice together in the context of Acharya Emily Bower’s visit to Boston and the ’’Shambhala Principle: A Day of Retreat & Exploration” program. This is an auspicious opportunity for Primordial Rigden Ngöndro, Werma Sadhana, and Scorpion Seal Assembly students to practice intensively.
Along with group practice sessions, on Saturday, we will have opportunity for self-directed study, and breakout discussion groups for each practice. Sunday, we will study with Acharya Bower, with discussions and presentations focused on the theme of Acharya Bower’s program: how our Vajrayana practices might help us relate to society as basically good. Acharya Bower will focus specifically on Shambhala terma and the Shambhala Vajrayana view of creating enlightened society.
The weekend will conclude with a Werma Sadhana feast. The feast can be attended separately from the weekend study intensive.
Acharya Bower requests that people pre-register, and note somewhere (on the comments section is recommended) their current practice, so that she can modify the program content accordingly.
Please note the study intensive is only open toindividuals who have received the Primordial Rigden Ngondro lung and further transmissions (Werma, Scorpion Seal).
