Exploring Death and the Art of Dying
with Susan Chapman
December 6 / 7:00 PM - December 8 / 5:00 PM
Friday and Saturday will focus specifically on the Tibetan Book of the Dead. This is a specific terma from the Vajrayana tradition and one that Trungpa Rinpoche held dear.
Sunday will be devoted to translating these traditional teachings into the language of Shambhala, examining the Shambhala Buddhist view of death, and discussing the support that families need before, during and after the loss of a loved one. We also include a discussion on practicalities and introduce Shambhala ceremonies and rituals.
Advance registration is advised since space will be limited, particularly for Sunday.
